On Oct 25 2019, IIM signed MOU with Aufhaven, a subsidiary of Mistletoe, for collaboration on  SLICE, a Self-sustaining farm-to-fork robocafe. IIM will be the provider of a service robot who greets customers, delivers dishes, and explains the concept behind the creation.

SLICE is a joint project between Mistletoe and JTC, on providing a self-sustaining farm-to-fork cafe in an urban setting, enhanced by robotics and automation. An experimental living lab that allows customers to test hypothesis around the future of food. IIM is exclusively chosen as the provider of service robots, which directly contribute to customer’s intelligent dining experience at SLICE. This product is going to leverage IIM’s long-term expertise in service robots, currently more extensively applied in property management and security; and naturally extends it to future dining.
